题 目:Introduction to modern nuclear-structure theory: Mean field and density-functional approaches to nuclear collective motions
摘 要:Atomic nuclei composed of finite numbers of neutrons and protons exhibit a wealth of collective behaviors. Microscopic theories to describe nuclear collective modes of excitation will be introduced. This lecture consists of two parts: the first part is devoted to the introduction of modern nuclear physics, in particular the physics of exotic nuclei. Theoretical challenges will be summarized. The second part is for an advanced nuclear theory for collective phenomena. This will focus on two types of characteristic modes: vibration and rotation. Connections to experimental observables are also reviewed.
